Dear Raptor users,
As some of you know or may have realized, support for Raptor has dwindled in the past few years. While efforts were made at various times to recruit new admins, there was never enough interest from current students to really maintain the server and the student group that once went with it. These factors along with the availability of alternative web hosting options have informed our decision to take Raptor permanently offline.
For those of you who have content on Raptor that you would like to save, please back these materials up by June 15, 2008. This includes any emails you have stored on the server. After this date Raptor will be permanently offline. If you need your password reset to accomplish this, please contact Jess Hamilton, jhamilton@gm.slc.edu or Nevan Scott, nscott@gm.slc.edu. If your website needs a home and you are a current student, there is hosting available for you on pages.slc.edu. For assistance with transitioning your site or any additional questions contact Emily Sharp at esharp@slc.edu.
It is a sad time, but we believe necessary at this point. Thank you for your understanding.
